Crystal Soul
Crystal Soul is the first track of what could be described as blind music. It's the conclusion of inverting the concept of silent movies, where the feelings are evoked from the gestures, the attitude of the characters, title cards and in general from visual content. The viewer ends up making his or her own idea of all the non visual content, such as what the voices of the characters are like, or how they change according to different moods, involving the viewer in the creation of the film as a whole and supposing a different experience for each person, becoming part of a very intimate memory. There are also everyday object sounds that the viewer can recognize visually and automatically relate them to it's sound, like if each person was a sound database of their personal experiences.
The music accompanying also plays a huge role when talking about the characterization of the situation and the effect that wants to create, and it's the other big point of silent movies. Down from the premise of being able to tell a story and evoke feelings in a situation where the viewer takes part actively, and taking into account that each person is a different sum of personal circumstances that will suppose a different experience, this track fits the idea of blind music. The main point is to make the listener relate the sounds with visual images and ideas that will be created in each one's mind from their experience. As the contrary of silent movies here the listener is able to imagine how it is all the visual content deduced from the sounds heard, as told before, considering each person as a sound database able to create a link between both concepts. Crystal Soul is focused on creating an atmosphere and situation. |

Leaden Hoof
Leaden Hoof is the second track following the concept of blind music, but this time more focused on creating a plot and supposing a clearer image of the concept.
It introduces the listener to a french businessman that tired of all the pressure, anxiety and frustration that his office job supposes to him, decides to take a rest. He takes from the drawer of his desktop a bottle of whisky, some ice, a soda and a blunt. This mixture makes his mind blow, and after the first puff everything around starts to vanish, reaching the moksha. |

Al Qaedub - القاعدة
Al Qaedub features the former president of the united states George Bush declaring the war on terror, on the 20th of september 2001, that would en up leading to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. There is a phrase that sums up quite well the intention of the message sent.
"And in our grief and anger, we have found our mission and our moment, it's time to pursue nations that provide aid or safe heaven to terrorism. Every nation now has a decision to make: either you are with us or you are with the terrorist". This just a reminder of the well known united states hypocrisy. |

Bedryf Kleurstof
Bedryf Kleurstof, or in Afrikáner industry dye, is the third track following the blind music concept.
This time the track is meant to reflect the change that suposes the industrialization in the lifestyle, worries and mores. How values change and society generates fears, barriers and a diferent perception of the enviroment around us, letting our roots and that interaction between nature and men go by. In the end, all the little mores or signs of this conception of being part of the whole, keep alive as a show bussiness after having lost all it's significance. |
